Why connect Apple Calendar and iPhone?

Changes keep arriving

A calendar subscription lets Apple Calendar and iPhone fetch new and changed collection days.

Alongside your appointments

See collection days on the devices and in the calendar you already use.

No repeated imports

Stay subscribed instead of downloading a new static ICS file after every change.

BinSync first checks the provider for your address. Some providers currently offer schedule preview only; the address check shows which calendar and reminder features are available.

How it works

Add your waste calendar to Apple Calendar and iPhone

Start on your personal BinSync page, where your schedule and secure connection options are prepared.

  1. 1

    Find your address

Enter your postcode and house number, then check the collection days BinSync finds.

  2. 2

    Start monitoring

Activate the address so BinSync can follow changes and make connection features available.

  3. 3

    Choose Apple Calendar and iPhone

Open the Calendar tab and select your calendar platform to see the prepared subscription option.

  4. 4

    Confirm the subscription

Follow the platform prompt to add the web calendar, then return to BinSync to check the connection.

Subscribe instead of importing once

A web calendar subscription keeps a connection to your personal BinSync calendar so later collection changes can be fetched.

A downloaded ICS file is a static snapshot. It is useful as a fallback, but previously imported events do not update automatically.

Frequently asked questions about Apple Calendar and iPhone

Will collection days update automatically?+

Yes, when you subscribe to the web calendar. The calendar platform controls exactly when it refreshes the feed.

Does this work for every address?+

Not always. Some providers currently support schedule preview only. BinSync checks available features after you enter the address.

Do I need an account?+

You can preview collection days first. Activating monitoring and managing calendar or reminder settings requires signing in.

Can I also use another calendar app?+

Yes. BinSync provides guided options for Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, and Outlook, plus a static ICS fallback for other apps.
