Why connect Microsoft Outlook?

Changes keep arriving

Microsoft Outlook can fetch the connected calendar again. With Plus, BinSync checks the provider every two days for changes.

Alongside your appointments

See collection days on the devices and in the calendar you already use.

No repeated imports

Stay connected instead of downloading and importing the same static ICS file again.

How it works

Add your waste calendar to Microsoft Outlook

Start on your personal BinSync page, where your schedule and secure connection options are prepared.

  1. 1

    Find your address

Enter your postcode and house number, then check the collection days BinSync finds.

  2. 2

    Choose calendar sync

Open the Calendar tab and choose a download or a free connected calendar.

  3. 3

    Choose Microsoft Outlook

Open the Calendar tab and select your calendar platform to see the prepared subscription option.

  4. 4

    Confirm the subscription

Follow the platform prompt to add the web calendar, then return to BinSync to check the connection.

Subscribe instead of importing once

A web calendar subscription keeps a free connection to your personal BinSync calendar so changes in the source calendar can be fetched later.

A downloaded ICS file is a static snapshot. It is useful as a fallback, but previously imported events do not update automatically.

Frequently asked questions about Microsoft Outlook

Will collection days update automatically?+

The calendar stays connected for free. With Plus, BinSync checks the provider every two days for changes. The calendar platform controls when it refreshes the feed.

Does this work for every address?+

Not always. Some providers currently support schedule preview only. BinSync checks available features after you enter the address.

Do I need an account?+

A static ICS download needs no account. A free connected calendar requires an account; only automatic provider checks require BinSync Plus.

Can I also use another calendar app?+

Yes. BinSync provides guided options for Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, and Outlook, plus a static ICS fallback for other apps.
